UPSC CDS Exam II 2018: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on the official website - upsc.gov.in has invited applications for Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2018. There are a total of 414 posts for the interested and eligible candidates. The students can apply for the same through the official website in the prescribed format on or before 3rd September 2018. According to the website, the candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions, the notice on the website read. More details are as follows: Name of the organisation: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Name of the exam: Combined Defence Services Examination (II) Number of the post: 414 posts Union Public Service Commission Vacancy Details • Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 Posts • Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala—Course: 45 Posts • Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 Posts • Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras): 225 Posts • Officers Training Academy, Chennai: 12 Posts Official website: upsc.gov.in Last Date of Application: 3 September 2018 Date for Examination: 18 November 2018 Educational Qualification: • I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent • Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution • Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering • Graduates with the first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB Important note: Mere issue of Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that the candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.
