UP Hospital Under Scanner For 'Mosambi Juice Drip To Dengue Patient' Faces Bulldozer Threat

The Prayagraj Development Authority officials have said that it was clear in the investigation that the building in which the Global Hospital and Trauma Center was running is illegal.

New Delhi: A hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj has come under the scanner for providing a drip of Mosambi Juice instead of platelets to a dengue patient. The Global Hospital in Prayagraj was sealed by the Health Department after a preliminary investigation. Now a notice has been issued by the authority claiming that the building of the private hospital is illegal. An ultimatum notice has also been issued in the matter.

The Prayagraj Development Authority officials have said that it was clear in the investigation that the building in which the Global Hospital and Trauma Center was running is illegal. The officials further said that no approval was taken before the construction.

Neither the approval was taken from the authority nor was its map passed, the officials said. According to Abhinav Ranjan, OSD of the Development Authority, the accused Global Hospital has been given three days to file a reply. If the building owner does not give a satisfactory answer within 3 days, then the building will be demolished according to the rules.
