Union Minister Shekhawat Responds To Cong Audio Tapes, 'Not My Voice, Ready For Any Kind Of Probe'

According to reports, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is allegedly heard hatching conspiracy with Congress MLAs to topple the Gehlot government.

Congress Audio Tapes Row: Amid the Rajasthan political turmoil, the leaked audio tapes have brought an interesting turn of events after the Pilot camp MLAs were allegedly heard discussing Horse Trading of MLAs, purportedly with Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. In response to the claims by Congress party demanding strict action against Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister has said that the allegations are false and it is not his voice in the audio tapes. Shekhawat said that he is ready for any kind of probe as congress is making false statements. In response to this, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said," I don't know Sanjay Jain. It is not my voice in the audio. If you listen carefully the man's accent is from Bikaner, I am from Jodhpur. I am being framed. I am ready to participate in any kind of investigation which brings out the truth." Gajendra Singh Shekhawat who currently holds the Ministry of Jal Shakti in the Modi cabinet had defeated Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot during the Rajasthan election and emerged incumbent in the Jodhpur constituency. What is in the tapes? In the leaked audio clips, Sharma is purportedly heard saying the rebel camp will soon gather 30 MLAs in their support. Another person is heard saying the government will be brought to its knees very soon. Union minister Shekhawat is purportedly heard saying it would take another 8-10 days and the rebel MLAs should stay at the hotel for this period as more MLAs will be joining the Pilot camp. One person is also heard saying, “Our men in Delhi have received the money. The first installment has reached them.”
