Umar Khalid's Bail Hearing Adjourned Again In Delhi High Court. Here's Why

The Delhi High Court on Monday again adjourned hearing bail pleas of Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam and other accused persons in connection with the larger conspiracy UAPA case related to the North-East Delhi riotsof 2020.
The matters were listed today for fresh hearing before a new bench comprising of Justice Navin Chawla and Justice Shalinder Kaur.
The court was to hear today bail pleas by other co-accused Mohd. Saleem Khan, Shifa ur Rehman, Shadab Ahmed, Athar Khan, Khalid Saifi and Gulfisha Fatima. The plea by the Delhi Police against bail granted to accused Ishrat Jahan was also listed today.
However, the hearing was adjourned as the bench did not sit today. The court master gave date of November 25 for next hearing in the matter. Now, all the plea will likely be taken up on November 25.
