Two Covid-19 Positive Kids Test Negative, Discharged From Srinagar Hospital

The officials also said that first Covid-19 positive siblings were discharged from the hospital today along with their mother who was Covid-19 negative but was staying with her children.

Srinagar: Two kids who were tested positive for Covid-19 were discharged from the hospital after their re-confirmation tests again turned negative. Officials at the hospital said that the 5 and 7-year-old siblings were admitted to the JLNM Rainawari Hospital Srinagar after they were tested positive for Covid-19. The officials also said that the first Covid-19 positive siblings were discharged from the hospital today along with their mother who was Covid-19 negative but was staying with her children. The re-confirmation tests of all the three were found negative today and thus they were discharged. These two kids hail from the Azad Basti Natipora area of Srinagar city. They were tested positive after coming into contact with their grandfather who had a travel history of Saudi Arabia. Nodal Officer for Coronavirus, Dr. Bilques confirmed that both these sisters were discharged from the hospital today after they tested negative. While as DM Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal while wishing the two kids, lauded the role of the hospital staff and the mother of the kids for her resilience.
