Sania Mirza shuts down troll who asked if her Independence Day is on August 14

NEW DELHI: A Twitter user on Tuesday wished Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza on Pakistan's Independence Day and asked if "her" I-Day falls on August 14. "Happy Independence Day Sania Mirza, aapka Independence Day aaj hain na," he wrote to Mirza, who is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. Sania Mirza shuts down troll who asked if her Independence Day is on August 14 To clear his "confusion", Mirza said her and her country's Independence Day is on Wednesday while the Independence Day of her husband's country is on Tuesday. "Jee nahi.. mera aur mere country ka Independence Day kal hai, aur mere husband aur unnki country ka aaj!! Hope your confusion is cleared !!Waise aapka kab hai?? Since you seem very confused," she wrote. Pakistan is celebrating its 72nd Independence Day on Tuesday with commemorative ceremonies held in cities across the country while India will celebrate its 72 Independence Day on Wednesday.
