India has so far received 26 Rafale aircraft

Minister of State for Defense, Ajay Bhatt said on Wednesday that India has so far received 26 Rafale aircraft from Dason Aviation. A total of 36 fighter jets are to be supplied to India under the Rafale deal. Bhatt said in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha, "The supply of 36 Rafale aircraft is proceeding under process. Till 26, aircraft have been received.

Significantly, that French news website 'Media Part' has said in its report that a French judge has been entrusted with the responsibility of a 'very sensitive' judicial inquiry into the alleged corruption in the Rs 59,000 crore Rafale aircraft deal with India. . Rahul Gandhi has been alleging corruption in the Rafale deal for a long time and he also made it a big election issue in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
