Student develops ‘Quick Medic’ app to help connect patients, ambulance; UP govt invites him for presentation

LUCKNOW: Avi Chopra, an 8th class student and his team of Gurgaon's Shri Ram School have been invited to present his application 'Quick Medic' to the National Health Mission. In a country where the standard of facilities in ambulances requires improvement, the application helps in connecting patients to nearest ambulances, hospitals. In Lucknow, the team will present on Thursday in front Principal Secretary of medical health and family welfare Prashant Trivedi.
The application Quick Medic helps to Create a business platform by connecting patients, ambulance services, Medical Practitioners, Hospitals, Insurance Companies etc. The displays the types of Ambulance in the application which will allow the patients to choose the right type of Ambulance.
With a GPS tracking system to give real-time tracking, the application will connect Doctors ‘On The Go’ to get ready with necessary arrangements at hospitals. The team says that the application will display the type of Ambulance in the application which will allow the patients to choose the right type of Ambulance.
Furthermore, the team of students now aims to develop a sensor which will be installed in automobiles which will sense emergency and activate the services and call the nearest Ambulance
