2 LeT Terrorists Killed In J&K's Poonch

Meanwhile, in another development, the Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid along the LoC in J&K's Poonch district. Two heavily armed terrorists, reportedly affiliated with the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), were killed in a gunfight as Army tried to foil the infiltration bid.

The incident took place on January 30 in the Khari Karmara area of Poonch after terrorist movement was detected at the Line of Control in the Poonch sector.

Army's Jammu-based White Knight Corps said that alert troops swiftly engaged the infiltrating terrorists, triggering an intense and heavy firefight. The operation lasted overnight, leading to the neutralisation of two terrorists. During the search of the area, a number of weapons and war-like stores were also recovered.
