Sidhu Moose Wala Murder | Politics Should Not Be Done On ‘Regretful Incident’: Delhi CM Kejriwal
“The Punjab Chief Minister has said all efforts are on and assured that the culprits would be caught and punished,” news agency ANI quoted Kejriwal as saying.
New Delhi: With the Opposition leaving no stone unturned in lambasting Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government over the killing of singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said politics should not be done on this extremely regretful incident.
Kejriwal said it is a matter of deep regret that Moose Wala has been killed.
“The Punjab Chief Minister has said all efforts are on and assured that the culprits would be caught and punished,” news agency ANI quoted Kejriwal as saying.
Earlier in the day, Mann met the late singer and rapper’s family members at his residence in Mansa district.
The Congress has been blaming the AAP government for the killing and seeking a probe by a central agency.

Earlier on Wednesday, a delegation led by Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Warring had met Governor Banwari Lal Purohit in this regard.
Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, Partap Singh Bajwa, had lashed out at the AAP for not meeting the grieving family.
“It’s been four days and not one M.P or Minister of ruling party AAP has visited the house of Sidhu Moosewala and stood by the family in this hour of grief. CM Bhagwant Mann ji is this what you meant when you said our Govt will be for AAM AADMI?” he tweeted on Wednesday.
Moose Wala, who had unsuccessfully contested the assembly polls on a Congress ticket, was shot dead in Jawaharpur village of Punjab’s Mansa district earlier on May 29.
The 28-year-old was shot dead a day after the Punjab government withdrew his security cover.
