Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde said that Shiv Sena, BJP will jointly contest all elections including Lok Sabha, Assembly Polls. Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis met Union Minister Amit Shah in Delhi yesterday. "We've decided that Shiv Sena and BJP will jointly contest all upcoming elections including Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, local body elections," CM Shinde tweeted. Shinde also said that discussions were held with Shah on various matters pertaining to agriculture, cooperative department. Calling the alliance with the BJP strong, Shinde said that since the last 11 months various development decisions have been taken and implemented and many stalled projects have been cleared.

"We discussed various matters related to agriculture, cooperative department. In the state, work is going on in various fields such as farmers and women empowerment and many stalled projects have been completed," Shinde said in a tweet in Marathi.
He also said, "It was also decided in this meeting that Shiv Sena and BJP will jointly contest all upcoming elections in the state (including elections to Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, local bodies). Our alliance for the development of Maharashtra is strong and since the last 11 months we have taken various development decisions and implemented them, clearing stalled projects."
Shinde exuded confidence in the alliance and said that In the future the two parties will contest elections together and win with a majority to make Maharashtra the number one state in the country in all fields.
