Security forces kill five terrorists in fierce encounter in J&K's Kulgam

The security forces had received information about 5 terrorists, and as per them, all 5 have been killed; but the body of the 5th terrorist is yet to be recovered.

Srinagar: In a successful operation, the security forces killed 5 terrorists who were hiding in a house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam on late Friday night. As per sources, the police officials received information about the terrorists hiding hiding near Qazigund and thereafter a search operation was initiated at 12 am. During searches, the terrorists opened fire on the police officials and a retaliatory firing was done by the security forces thereafter. As per reports, the first shot was fired at 1:30 am. The security forces had received information about 5 terrorists, and as per them, all 5 have been killed; but the body of the 5th terrorist is yet to be recovered. The security forces are still searching for the 5th terrorist. The security forces later blew off the house where the terrorists were hiding with explosives. In last 72 hours the security forces have killed 13 terrorists in total.
