Schools must remain open on birth anniversaries of national leaders: Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday held a briefing in Lucknow on the occasion of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary; and paid tribute to him. Major takeaways:

• Many students don’t understand and value the importance of birth anniversaries of national leaders. Neither are they aware of such days since the day is observed as a holiday. Therefore, UP government would ensure that schools remain open on such days and organize special programmes to honour the leader born on that day: CM Adityanath
