'Truth Cannot Be Defeated,' Pilot Tweets After His Dismissal As Rajasthan Dy CM; Drops 'Congress' From Twitter Bio

His reaction came minutes after Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala announced that Sachin Pilot and two other ministers were removed from their respective posts.

Sachin Pilot & Rajasthan Crisis: Disgruntled Congress leader Sachin pilot, now former deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, has reacted to his dismissal from the post and has said that “truth” cannot be defeated. His reaction came minutes after Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala announced that Sachin Pilot and two other ministers were removed from their respective posts. This is apparently the first-ever public reaction by Pilot ever since his tiff with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made to the headlines. In a tweet in Hindi, Pilot wrote Truth may be harassed but it cannot be defeated, in an indirect attack at the Congress party, which sacked him as Rajasthan’s deputy Chief Minister  and as party’s state unit president. Two other Pilot-loyalist Ministers -- Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena -- were also removed from the council of ministers. State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara was appointed the new Pradesh Congress Committee chief. Pilot removes ‘Congress’ from his Twitter bio: Pilot has removed the mention of Congress from his Twitter bio soon after the party stripped him of the posts he held. “MLA from Tonk| Former Minister of IT, Telecom & Corporate affairs,GoI |Commissioned officer Territorial Army” this is what Pilot’s Twitter bio now reads. He is yet to de-link INC’s website from his profile. Congress workers soon removed his nameplate from party’s office in Jaipur and replaced it with Govind Singh Dotasara’s name. A day before his banners were removed from party office. What happened in Rajasthan? Sachin Pilot opened up a front against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and claimed support of a good number of MLAs, enough to push the Gehlot government to minority in Rajasthan Assembly. On the other hand, the Chief Minister claimed he had the requisite numbers to head the state government. Despite hours of meeting with party top-brass, Sachin Pilot, who alleged humiliation from senior leaders of the state, could not be convinced. He was openly invited to party’s MLA meet on Monday and Tuesday, but decided to give it a snub.
