Republic Day Parade 2023: When And Where To Watch Live Telecast Of January 26 Parade

The 74th Republic Day parade will begin at 10.30 am on Thursday and will be live streamed on state-run channels — Doordarshan and Sansad TV

India is all geared up for the 74th Republic Day celebrations on January 26. President Droupadi Murmu will unfurl the national flag on Kartavaya Path, previously known as Rajpath, on Thursday. The president will address the nation on the eve of Republic Day today at 7 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders will join the Indian Army and Delhi Police for celebrations on the Kartavya Path.

This year, Republic Day celebrations are themed around ‘Jan-Bhagidari' (participation of people) which will showcase the cultural heritage and rich tradition of the country.

When And Where To Watch The Republic Day Parade 2023

The celebrations are expected to begin at 7.30 am tomorrow with the unfurling of the flag followed by the national anthem. The parade will begin at 10 am and will be live streamed on state-run channels - Doordarshan and Sansad TV.

Millions of Indians can witness the grand Republic Day ceremony on various platforms. You can also watch the celebration on YouTube and Twitter.

You can also watch the live telecast at republicday.nic.in The flag hoisting ceremony by the President will be followed by Republic Day Parade at 9:00 am, mentions the website.

The parade will begin from Vijay Chowk and move towards Red Fort via Kartavaya Path, C-Hexagon, a roundabout statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Netaji Subhash Marg.

The celebrations this year will include scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, showcase the cave shrine of Amarnath, feature a drone show and more.

The week-long Republic Day celebrations began on January 23rd, on the birth anniversary of the renowned freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. To commemorate the occasion, a unique Military Tattoo and Tribal Dance Festival called "Aadi Shaurya - Parv Parakram ka" was held in New Delhi on January 23rd and 24th. The events will conclude on January 30th, which is recognized as Martyrs' Day.
