'Accept my proposal, else would enact law to built Ram Temple' says Swamy

Uttar Pradesh: Making a strong statement over Ram temple issue, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday urged Muslim groups to accept BJP’s proposal else after winning majority in Rajya Sabha in 2018, they would make a law to build Ram Temple in Ayodhya.    What did SC say? Swamy’s statement came after Supreme Court directed the parties to resolve the issue with dialogue and mutual consent. The SC’s statement came after a hearing was requested by Swamy himself. Swamy early on Wednesday took on to Twitter and made the strong statement. He wrote, “Muslim should accept my proposal for a masjid across Saryu. Or else in 2018 on getting the RS majority we will enact a law to build temple”. What was HC’s ruling? HC had asked to divide the 2.77 acres of land in three equal parts. After HC hearing the matter reached Supreme Court, and has been pending in SC from past 6 years. Various parties and Muslim clerics had on Tuesday welcomed SC’s suggestion saying it is best if a problem can be resolved via dialogue.
