Rajasthan SHOCKER: Baby's head left inside body, as nurses pull too hard during delivery in Jaisalmer
A complaint was filed in the case against hospital authorities and now, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission has taken cognizance of the incident and sought a report from Jaisalmer SP and CMHO.
New Delhi: In a bone chilling incident, a new born premature baby’s head was left inside the womb when the nurses at the hospital pulled the baby too hard during delivery at Jaisalmer hospital. The woman was later referred to another hospital in Jodhpur, where the remaining part of the baby’s body was removed.
As per reports, the incident took place at Ramgarh’s health centre.
Speaking on the incident, Dr Dr Sankhla, Jawahar Hospital, Jaisalmer says, "The reports from the Ramgarh health centre stated that delivery had been done.Also,the family didn't inform that the head of the baby was inside the womb. On examining her I found the placenta to be hard and referred her to Jodhpur."
