New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again attacked the union government over the alleged occupation of Indian territory by China.

Rahul Gandhi on Saturday hit out at the government saying that now the Centre should accept the "truth" of China's occupation of Indian land. Rahul Gandhi had earlier targetted the government on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of repealing the three contentious agricultural laws.

On Thursday, India and China agreed to hold the next round of military-level talks and have also agreed to soon decide on a date for the complete withdrawal of troops from other areas of the conflict in Eastern Ladakh.

According to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs, the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on Border Affairs (WMCC) met digitally. In the meeting, the two sides clearly discussed the situation on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh and reviewed the developments after the previous military-level talks.
