Lalu discharged from AIIMS, says it is a conspiracy to 'deteriorate his health'
Prasad is lodged in Ranchi's Birsa Munda Central Jail since December 23 after being convicted in the Deoghar treasury case.
Doctors at AIIMS issued a fitness certificate saying he is healthy enough to return to jail. The Bihar leader protested his discharge from AIIMS alleging it was a conspiracy to deteriorate his health. He will be taken to the Jharkhand jail. Before that he wrote a letter to AIIMS Director questioning his early discharge. "Why am I being discharged when I have not completely recovered? This is being done under some political pressure. Meanwhile, his son Tej Pratap Yadav has started distributing the invitation cards for his wedding in May with Aishwarya Rai, the granddaughter of former Bihar chief minister Daroga Prasad Rai. The couple got engaged at Hotel Maurya in Patna on April 18.
