Purvodaya 2019: BJP Will Get Over 65 Seats In Jharkhand Assembly Polls, Claims CM Raghubar Das

While speaking to ABP News at Purvodaya 2019, Das said with such huge crowd participating in the Yatra clearly goes to prove that people are indeed happy with our governance.

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Wednesday said that people are satisfied and happy with the work of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state and also mentioned that he got full support of the people during the recently conducted 'Jan Aashirwad Yatra'. While speaking to ABP News at Purvodaya 2019, Das said with such huge crowd participating in the Yatra clearly goes to prove that people are indeed happy with our governance. "At this time, there is a clean government both in Centre and in the state and people are talking about the work done by the government. Under the supervision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central government, Jharkhand has got a double engine government. People are now fed up with dynastic politics and want developmental politics which our government is doing," Das said. His statement comes ahead of the much-awaited Assembly Elections in the state which is due before year-end and Election Commission (EC) is likely to announce the poll dates this week. Further speaking about the allegations made by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren, Das said Opposition's work is to criticise the government, but he must not forget that when his party was in power, several scams were reported. Das also alleged that Soren and his party were involved in a scam of Rs 4,000 crore. "Sand of Jharkhand were sold to contractors in Mumbai but this has been stopped since our government came to power," Das said adding that his government is investing in every sector to uplift the image of Jharkhand. Jharkhand CM said that BJP never does dynasty or regional politics but Opposition parties are still banking on such techniques. BJP is the biggest democratic party and does not believe in regional politics, Das said adding that BJP will win over 65 seats in the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections and return to power in the state. Earlier this month, Das spoke to ABP News in its flagship summit Shikhar Sammelan held ahead of the crucial assembly polls and exuded confidence of winning the upcoming assembly polls and claimed that the BJP will win all the 81 seats of the state legislature. Jharkand has 82 Assembly seats of which one is nominated. “For me holding the post of the Chief Minister is not important but service of people is important.  I would not object even if the party decides to make somebody else the CM,” Das had said. Hitting out at the previous governments, Das said: “None of the previous governments worked for the development of the tribals in the state, but in the last four and a half years, the BJP government has made policies for the benefit of the tribal people and for other deprived sections.” With a few months to go for the Jharkhand polls, the BJP is all set to begin its election campaign with the present Chief Minister Raghubar Das as the face of its leader in the state. The state party unit launched its campaign with the "Ghar-ghar Raghubar" campaign on lines similar to the successful BJP slogan of "Ghar-ghar Modi".
