Punjab Election: Akali Dal Announces First List Of Candidates For Polls, Sukhbir Badal To Contest From Jalalabad

Punjab Election: Shiromani Akali Dal has released its first list of candidates. In its first list, the Akali Dal has announced the names of 64 candidates.

Punjab Election: The Shiromani Akali Dal has released its first list of candidates for the assembly elections in Punjab early next year. The Akali Dal has announced the names of 64 candidates in its first list.

Lok Sabha MP from Ferozepur seat and Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal will be contesting this time. He has announced to contest from Jalalabad seat in Malwa West Zone.

The party has fielded Gurbachan Singh Babehali as its candidate from Gurdaspur seat. Apart from him, Anil Joshi from Amritsar North, Dr. Dalbir Singh Varka from Amritsar West and Talbir Singh Gill from Amritsar South have been announced to be fielded. 

Akali Dal has fielded Preetpal Singh Pali as its candidate in Ludhiana Central seat while Maheshinder Singh Grewal from Ludhiana West and Ranjit Singh Gill from Ludhiana East have been given tickets. In addition, Makhan Barjinder Singh from Moga seat and Joginder Singh Jindu from Ferozepur rural have been fielded. 

The party has announced that Hansraj Josan will contest from Fazilka assembly constituency, Parambans Singh Bunty Romana from Faridkot, Kulwant Singh Kanta from Barnala seat, Kabir Das from Nabha seat in Patiala and Harinder Singh Chandumajra from Sanaur seat in Patiala.
