'It Is PM Modi's Upbringing': RJD Leader Misa Bharti Hits Back Over 'Shehzada' Remark On Tejashwi

Former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav continued his critique of the BJP, highlighting public frustration with PM Modi's unfulfilled pledges. He accused the BJP of neglecting Bihar.

New Delhi: After Former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav fired back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent remarks labeling him as a 'Shehzada.  RJD leader Misa Bharti also hit back at PM Modi, saying, "It is PM Modi's upbringing with which name and word he wants to address whom, but he should consider that the person about whom he is using this word, has given 5 lakh government jobs to the youth of Bihar."

On Saturday, Tejashwi Yadav said that Modi is 'pirzada', our elder, and he can say anything, but he speaks more lies than truth.

This came hours after PM Modi called Tejashwi Yadav a 'shehzada' equivalent to that of the Congress leader in Delhi (Rahul Gandhi), who considers the entire Bihar his "jagir" (property). Tejashwi Yadav criticised PM Modi's address in Darbhanga, urging him to focus on substantive issues rather than rhetoric. Yadav highlighted the intellectual nature of the people in Mithila and emphasized their desire for meaningful discourse. He took aim at the BJP, alleging that the party has failed to deliver significant benefits to the people of Bihar.

"He is the PM, he can say anything. He is 'pirzada', our elder. We are 'chhote log'. He has the right to say whatever he wants. He is 'pirzada' but he speaks more lies than truth. He has come to Darbhanga, so he should say useful things. People in Mithila are intellectuals, they want to hear useful things, not useless things...They have done nothing for the people here...This time, BJP's condition in Bihar is bad," the former Bihar Deputy CM said.

Tejashwi Yadav continued his critique of the BJP, highlighting public frustration with PM Modi's unfulfilled pledges. He accused the BJP of neglecting Bihar, citing what he described as "stepmotherly behavior" towards the state. He said that the people of Bihar are disillusioned with the BJP's track record and are determined to hold the party to account.

Referring to the BJP as the "Badka Jhootha Party," he emphasised Bihar's resolve to reject them in the upcoming elections, advocating instead for an "I.N.D.I.A Alliance" government at the Centre.
