PM Modi To Inaugurate 108-Feet Tall Idol Of Lord Hanuman In Gujarat Via Video Conferencing Tomorrow

As per a report by news agency PTI, the construction of the statue that will be inaugurated tomorrow started in 2018 and it was built at a cost of Rs 10 crores.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a 108-feet tall idol of Lord Hanuman at Keshvanand Ashram in Gujarat's Morbi town on Saturday. 

The inauguration will take place via video conferencing at 11 am, tomorrow on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.

This is the second statue being installed by Shree Harish Chander Nanda Education and Charitable Trust. The trust is building four such statues across the country in the four directions under the #Hanumanji4dham project. 

It is set up in the west at the Ashram of Param Pujya Bapu Keshvanand ji in Morbi, a press release by the PMO stated.

According to the PMO, the first such idol was inaugurated in 2010 in Shimla. This is the second one and the work for the third one has already begun in Rameshwaram.

While the event will be attended by the PM virtually, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and other leaders will remain present at the venue, PTI reported.

PM Modi on Friday dedicated the KK Patel Super Speciality Hospital at Bhuj in Gujarat to the nation via video conferencing. 

The virtual inaugurations come ahead of the Prime Minister’s three-day visit to Gujarat which begins on Monday, April 18.

This is PM Modi’s second visit to Gujarat after BJP’s win in four state assemblies. Gujarat is bound to go to the polls in the next few months.
