UCC, Nehru's Rule, Emergency: PM Modi's Top Quotes During Address In Rajya Sabha

PM Modi addressed the Rajya Sabha, criticising the Congress for appeasement politics and emphasizing his government's focus on satisfaction and development for all.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday tore into opposition during his address in Rajya Sabha. Replying to the Motion of Thanks to President's Address, Modi touched upon several topics from OBC reservation to the Uniform Civil Code and the recently proposed Union Budget.

During his speech, PM Modi attacked the Congress saying the grand old party-led UPA government worked on the model of 'tushtikaran' (appeasement) while his government works on the model of 'santushtikaran' (satisfaction).

He also trained guns on Congress saying it is "well documented how much anger and hatred Congress had towards Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar."
