Petrol, diesel prices today: Fuel rates fall down for fourth consecutive day
Petrol and diesel prices on Thursday were reduced for the first time in over two months because of a drop in the cost of production, according to state-owned oil firms.
New Delhi: In a relief to the people, the prices of petrol and diesel dropped down for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday.
In the capital city Delhi, the price of petrol and diesel came down by Rs 0.25 and Rs 0.17, respectively, while in Mumbai a dip of Rs 0.25 and Rs 0.18 has been marked respectively.
After the dip, petrol and diesel prices in Delhi are Rs 81.74 per litre and Rs 75.19 per litre respectively. Petrol & diesel prices in Mumbai are Rs 87.21 per litre and Rs 78.82 per litre, respectively.

The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) cut the prices of key domestic transportation fuels - petrol and diesel - for the third consecutive day on Saturday.
Petrol prices had been burning a hole in the pockets of people since there had been an unabated increase in its price .
