Patanjali To Integrate 5 Lakh Schools Into Bhartiya Shiksha Board In Next 5 Years, Says Baba Ramdev

Ramdev said that after Yoga revolution, his company would focus on five revolutions— educationalal, healthcare, economic, intellectual and cultural freedom, and steps against addiction.

Patanjali is planning to integrate 5 lakh schools across the country into the Bhartiya Shiksha Board in the next five years, Baba Ramdev said at the company's 30th anniversary on Sunday. The Yoga guru also said that Patanjali will introduce a new education system in the country, which would be later expanded across the world.

Ramdev made the announcements during the 30th foundation anniversary of Patanjali in Haridwar. He said that after Yoga revolution in the country, his company would focus on five revolutions— educational revolution, healthcare revolution, economic revolution, intellectual and cultural freedom, and steps against addiction.

The foundation day celebration on Sunday was attended by 6,000 employees of the Patanjali Yogpeeth from across the country. 

During the event, Ramdev highlighted the struggles and achievements of the company in the last three decades and also shared his vision on the company's future steps.

He said that 5 lakh schools will be integrated into the Bhartiya Shiksha Board, a National Board of School Education recogised by the Education Ministry, in the next five years. The Yoga guru said that the revolution in the education system will be first introduced into the country, and then expanded to several countries. 

"We will include information from all over the world in Hindi, English and Sanskrit, keep the content updated with the world, but even in that, 80 per cent of the content will be of Vedas, philosophy, Upanishads, Puranas, and the pride of India. It will have spiritual knowledge and Sanatan understanding," Baba Ramdev said, according to the company statement. 

"Through the Bhartiya Shiksha Board, we will not teach the false greatness of foreign invaders, Akbar, Aurangzeb or the British, but the true history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap and revolutionaries," he added.

In the field of healthcare, Patanjali is working in the field of helping people get rid of illnesses through Ayurveda, the Yoga guru said. He further said that Patanjali has created over 5,000 research protocols and published over 500 research papers in world-class journals so that people can be treated through Ayurveda. 

Swami Ramdev said that the lives of the people are getting destroyed due to drug addiction, obscenity and unhealthy lifestyle.

He added that 500 crore people across the world have faith in Hinduism and if they work together, they can end religious terrorism, political terrorism and the terrorism going on in the name of education and healthcare.

The Bhartiya Shiksha Board, founded by yoga guru Ramdev, has been recognised as a pan-India school education board, similar to other boards like the CBSE or the ICSE.
