Tharoor In US, Owaisi In Saudi — Who Goes Where For India's Diplomatic Outreach

To bolster India's counter-terrorism efforts post "Operation Sindoor," seven all-party delegations, comprising 51 leaders, MPs, and ex-ministers, will visit 32 countries and the EU.

A total of 51 political leaders, MPs, and former ministers cutting across party lines will be part of the seven delegations that will travel to various countries putting across India's resolve to tackle terrorism against the backdrop of Operation Sindoor.

The seven all-party delegations will be led by parliamentarians from across the political spectrum which will visit 32 countrie and the European Union headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

Each delegation will be led by seven MPs including Baijayant Panda, Ravi Shankar Prasad (both BJP), Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU), Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena), Shashi Tharoor (Congress), Kanimozhi (DMK) and Supriya Sule (NCP-SP). 

Each delegation will comprise seven to eight political leaders apart from former diplomats. Of the 51 political leaders, 31 are from the ruling NDA while the remaining 20 are from non-NDA parties. 

At least one Muslim member, either among politicians or diplomats, will be a part of all the seven delegations.
