On Padmaavat, Pratibha Patil says don't distort historical facts

The former president said Rani Padmavati was the symbol of women's honour

Jaipur: Former president Pratibha Patil said on Thursday that there should be no distortion of historical facts while making films. Women should be respected," Patil said when asked about the recently released controversial film Padmaavat, which faced wrath of several Rajput groups, including Karni Sena. They were against the film for its alleged 'distortion of history'.
