No money in parliament's ATM, how would people in villages get money, asks Azad; Country going backwards, says Akhilesh

New Delhi: The Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has today again attacked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his demonetisation move, announced last month. "No money in parliament's ATM, how would people in villages get money?", Azad questioned today. "Government has majority, they are elected representatives but are still running away from voting", said Mallikarjun Kharge of the Congress in Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha was adjourned till noon following Opposition uproar over demonetisation issue. In an effort to control the menace of black money and corruption, PM Modi had announced demonetisation on November 8. However, since then, every day, people are standing in long queues outside banks and ATMs to withdraw their hard earned money. In the middle of all this, on Monday, the Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav also again criticised the notes ban move and said as a result of it "Country is going backwards". However, PM Modi during Petrotech-2016 event, on Monday, said-"Our economy is more stable than others, it has shown more resilience, will grow five-fold by 2040".
