No-confidence motion: Sena lashes out at BJP ahead of voting in its mouthpiece Saamna
No confidence motion: Sena article further said, “The TDP which presented no-confidence motion was in NDA’s favour till yesterday, then why did they leave?”
New Delhi: Keeping its vote confidential, ally Shiv Sena on Friday lashed out at Bharatiya Janta Party ahead in its mouthpiece Saamna, right ahead of the voting over the no-confidence motion against Modi government, the discussion on which is set to begin at 11am.
In its article, Sena accused BJP of cheating everyone including TDP. It further claimed that “no-confidence motion is not to dissolve the government, but to make it stand like an accused in a cage and peal its skin”.
It is not the first time Sena has resorted to such harsh words against BJP. The ally doesn’t leave any chance to take on the government and express its resentment.
Sena article further said, “The TDP which presented no-confidence motion was in NDA’s favour till yesterday, then why did they leave?”
The article further mentioned Raju Shetty, who on Thursday claimed that he would not vote in favour of the government claiming it didn’t fulfil the demands of the farmers and didn’t wave of their loans. “Raju Shetty was till yesterday the driver of NDA’s cart” it said.
“The Sena which helped BJP in its bad times, and blew ‘Hindutva’ trumpets for the party, is still on paper with NDA, but Sena who supported for 25 years was shown distrust of “we are ours”.
Sena also claimed that BJP left its support after it didn’t have Sena’s need.
