NaMo App’s ‘Jan Man Survey’ Launched On Modi Govt's 11 Years, Receives 5 Lakh Responses In 24 Hours

Over five lakh citizens voiced opinions and provided feedback via NaMo App’s Jan Man Survey, which was launched as PM Modi-led government completed eleven years in 2025.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks 11 years in office,a survey titled the ‘Jan Man Survey’ was launched on the NaMo App. The survey drew over 5 lakh responses from users in just a day, with the most responses recorded from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Haryana.

The digital outreach initiative is aimed at providing citizens with an opportunity to express their opinion on government initiatives and national issues, and participate actively in the democratic process by sharing their feedback.

The initiative, which was announced by PM Modi on Monday, is being hailed as a new way for ensuring the public provides input on national matters and that their voices are heard and considered in policymaking.

"Your views matter the most! Take part in this survey on the NaMo App and let us know how you view India's growth journey over the last 11 years. #11YearsOfSeva," the Prime Minister posted on X earlier today, urging people to participate.

Accessible via the NaMo App homepage, the survey banner invites users to offer their perspectives on a range of issues, including national security, cultural identity, economic development, and youth empowerment.

Uttar Pradesh Leads In Participation

So far, Uttar Pradesh has recorded the highest number of participants, contributing over 1.4 lakh responses. Other top-performing states include Maharashtra (65,775), Tamil Nadu (62,580), Gujarat (43,590), and Haryana (29,985). An impressive 77 percent of those who began the survey completed it, indicating strong public commitment to civic engagement, news agency ANI reported.

The launch of the Jan Man Survey is part of efforts to mark 11 years since Modi was first sworn in as Prime Minister on May 26, 2014. His third consecutive term began on June 9 last year. Alongside the survey, the Union government has also released a detailed e-book showcasing major achievements over the past decade-plus.

BJP President and Union Minister JP Nadda also weighed in, emphasising the Modi government's achievement in the last 11 years, including good governance and change in India's "political culture," ANI reported.

The survey questions include those on the evolution of India's approach to counter-terrorism in the last decade, how secure citizens feel in view of the government's actions against national security threats, and if India's voice is being heard more internationally among others, news agency PTI reported.

It also seeks response from citizens on some of the initiatives like Skill India and Make in India and efforts for women-led development.
