Power Restored In Most Parts Of Mumbai After After Grid Failure In Thane's Kalwa
The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BSET) Electricity said the electric supply is interrupted due to TATAs incoming electric supply failure.
Mumbai: India's financial capital Mumbai was hit by a massive power outage following a grid failure on Monday, bringing normal life to a temporary halt. Most areas in the financial city is facing power outage on Monday morning. Citizens from across the city including south, central and north Mumbai are expressing their anguish over the power cut on social media.
The power supply was restored in most parts of the city after a couple of hours.

Mumbai suburban train services had disrupted due to power outage after grid failure; several passengers were seen stuck at the platforms.
The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BSET) Electricity, also too to microblogging site Twitter and said the electric supply is interrupted due to TATAs incoming electric supply failure.
"Power cut happened around 10:05 in Bandra. I was on my usual Monday morning con call with my colleagues when the outage happened. Most colleagues dropped off from across the city from South Mumbai to Western Suburbs only to join back the call using hotspot from their mobile phones," said one of the professionals working from home.
Meanwhile Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is working as usual despite the power cut. It also mentioned that the listing ceremony was concluded successfully for Mazagon Shipbuilders on Monday morning.
