MG George Death Case: Delhi Police Deny Foul Play In Death Caused By Falling From Fourth Floor Of Delhi Residence

MG George, also know as Mathai George George Muthoot, the third-generation businessman of his family. After taking over the reins from his parents, George became chairman of the Muthoot group.

New Delhi: Muthoot Group chairman MG George died because of injuries sustaining after falling from the fourth floor. He had passed away in the national capital on Friday evening at the age of 72.

Delhi Police informed that on Friday night, MG George was brought to Fortis Escort Hospital in an injured condition where he died during treatment.

When police reached the spot, it was learnt that MG George had fallen from the fourth floor of his house situated East of Kailash, due to which he was seriously injured.

DCP South East RP Meena says that the police have collected the MLC report of MG George and also visited the scene of the incident and the crime team also went there.

So far, the investigation has found no foul play behind the death and there is no suspicion raised by the family members either. Post mortem of MG George's body in AIIMS hospital has been handed over to his family members.

George's family members plan to cremate his mortal remains in Kochi, Kerala.
