UP 'Honour Killing': Man Shoots Dead Teenage Daughter, Her Friend After Spotting Them At Terrace
The horrific killing was reported to the police by the neighbours and others in the locality.
Meerut (Uttar Pradesh): A case of 'honour killing' has yet again been reported from the state of Uttar Pradesh where a man allegedly shot dead his daughter and her friend after spotting them together.
According to an IANS report, the 16-year-old girl and the 18-year-old boy were friends. The girl's father did not approve of their relationship and had strongly objected to it in the past.

The incident took place in the Badhauli village, police said on Monday.
"The man noticed the two youngsters on the terrace. He was returning home. Angry at what he saw, he went straight inside and picked up a gun which he bought six months back and pumped four bullets on the youth. He then shot his daughter," said a police spokesperson.

The young couple was rushed to the hospital by policemen that had arrived at the crime scene. The boy was declared dead during admission while the girl succumbed during medical treatment.
The report said that the police managed to record the girl's statement just before she breathed her last.
