Maharashtra Lockdown Restrictions Will Not Be Lifted After June 30: CM Uddhav Thackeray

New Delhi: While the time for Unlock phase 2 is nearing, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray seems wary of any more ease in restrictions and has stated that lockdown will not be lifted after June 30. Of the tally, more than 74,000 cases are in Mumbai and over 7000 people have lost their lives in the state. Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday ruled out the lifting of lockdown. Outdoor movements continue to be restricted for essential activities like buying food, vegetables, visits to markets, salons, barber shops, with a radius of 2 kms only, said Deputy Commissioner of Police and Mumbai Police Spokesperson Pranaya Ashok.
