The Thane Police had earlier this month issued a lookout notice against Parambir Singh.

Earlier, a case of conspiracy, extortion, assault and robbery was registered against Singh and 27 others at the Thane Nagar police station, where the complainant Ketan Tanna alleged that they extorted money under the pretext of implicating him in a false case.

A lookout notice has been issued against all the 28 accused in the case.

Some of the accused in this case are already in jail. The lookout notice was issued so that the accused could not flee overseas.
