Caught On Camera: MP Man Brutally Beats Up ‘Girlfriend’. Cops Say He Got Angry After She Asked For Marriage

The woman reported the event to the police but refused to register a complaint. The accused was arrested but later released because he was being held under Section 151.

A disturbing video has emerged on social media of a 19-year-old woman being beaten up by a man in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa after she requested him to marry her.

According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday, and the accused was initially detained for disrupting public peace before being freed under Section 151. According to a PTI report, the woman went to the police station to report the event, but she stated that she would not file a complaint against him.

Following the release of the video, the police filed a case against the man under Section 323 and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code, however, the accused has since fled.

According to authorities, a case has been filed against the person who shot the video and shared it in response to the woman's complaint.

The video was taken when the man and woman were conversing, and the woman mentioned marriage. The man asked the person filming the video to cease filming for 2 minutes. He then dropped the sack he was carrying, smacked the woman, and slammed her head to the ground. As she slid onto the ground, the woman yelled, and the man kicked her in the face. The man then hauled himself up, as the woman struggled to stand.

According to preliminary information, the individual in the video is a resident of Dhera village in the Mauganj district, according to SDOP Naveen Dubey. According to PTI, the victim and the accused were in a relationship and had a disagreement, after which he beat her up.
