Lucknow: The Lucknow petrol pump owners would end their strike at 12 pm on Tuesday after an action from the Government. The strike came after raids at petrol pumps by Uttar Pradesh STF after orders from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The petrol pump owners faced red from the STF after they were caught red-handed be-fooling people and stealing fuel. In the recent raids done by Lucknow STF, it was found that petrol pump owners were inserting a chip-like device inside their petrol dispensing machines and fooling the consumers by selling them less fuel for the same price. The raids were conducted on around 15-16 petrol pumps and 13 pumps were seized in the raids. As per reports,  the decision of strike came into force as UP Petrol Pump Association’s Chief BN Shukla was facing major setback after STF strikes as  three of the petrol pumps owned by his son were seized in the raids. Soon after the seizure of these petrol pumps, a meeting was held on Monday night where it was decided that a strike would be called by all the petrol pumps. As per reports, the strike has been called to create a pressure on STF as people are ought to suffer due to the strikes by petrol pumps of the city.
