Priyanka Gandhi Replaced As Congress’s UP General Secretary In-Charge, Sachin Pilot Gets Chhattisgarh
Avinash Pande has been appointed in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, replacing Priyanka Gandhi.
New Delhi: In a major organisational rejig ahead of the Lok Sabha elections next year, Sachin Pilot has been appointed as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary of Chhattisgarh. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been relieved from the post of AICC in-charge of UP Congress, Ramesh Chennithala was appointed as AICC in-charge of Maharashtra. Avinash Pande has been appointed in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, replacing Priyanka Gandhi.

Congress leader Deepa Dasmunsi was appointed as the General Secretary of Kerala and Lakshadweep and given additional charge of Telangana Congress, Congress leader GA Mir was named the General Secretary of Jharkhand and given addition charge of West Bengal.
Senior Congress leader Mukul Vasnik has been given charge of Gujarat, and Randeep Singh Surjewala was appointed as Karnataka in-charge. Jairam Ramesh was named General Secretary in-charge of communication, KC Venugopal is the General Secretary in charge of organisation, while Priyanka Gandhi has not been assigned any specific portfolio.
Jitendra Singh was appointed as General Secretary of Assam and additional charge of Madhya Pradesh, Dipak Babaria was given charge of Delhi and additional charge of Haryana, Kumari Selja was made General Secretary of Uttarakhand.
Mohan Prakash was given charge of Bihar, Chellakumar was made General Secretary of Meghalaya, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh, Ajoy Kumar was given charge of Odisha and additional charge of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Bharatsinh Solanki got Jammu and Kashmir, Rajeev Shukla got Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, Sukhjinder Randhawa got Rajasthan, Devender Yadav was given charge of Punjab.
