Karnataka Minister Announces 100-Bed Multispecialty Hospital In Sarvajna Nagar: Know Details

Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao commended the initiative calling it a model hospital for the region.

A new 100-bed multispecialty hospital is set to enhance healthcare services in Sarvajna Nagar with Energy Minister K J George and Health and Family Welfare Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao recently inspecting the project's progress in HRBR Layout. The hospital aims to provide modern, patient-focused medical care to the local community.

During the site visit, Minister KJ George stressed the need for timely completion, directing the Health Department to ensure the facility is well-equipped and operational as soon as possible, as per a report on PTI. He highlighted the hospital’s accessibility features, including ramps and dedicated consultation rooms for specialized treatments.

Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao commended the initiative, calling it a model hospital for the region. He requested a comprehensive cost estimate to be submitted through the Finance Department, stating that it would be presented to the Cabinet for approval and necessary funding.

Taking to X, Dinesh Rao said, "Today, I inspected the construction of a new government multi-specialty hospital under construction in the Sarvajnanagar assembly constituency along with Energy Minister Shri K.J. George. In order to provide better health facilities to the people of the country, our government will build community health centers in new taluks. Along with this, it is emphasizing on upgrading many taluk hospitals and building multi-specialty hospitals that provide the best health services."

Facilities Of Multispecialty Hospital

The facility is designed to offer a range of medical services, including an intensive care unit (ICU), a fully functional emergency department, and a dialysis center. Additionally, specialized consultation rooms for ENT and other medical fields will be located on the ground floor for easy accessibility.

This hospital forms part of Karnataka’s larger plan to improve healthcare across the state by expanding and upgrading medical facilities, ensuring that advanced treatment options are more accessible, particularly in areas with growing healthcare demands.
