JEE Main results 2016 declared at jeemain.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in

New Delhi: The most awaited results of the JEE (Main) exam 2016 for admission to NITs, IIITs and other centrally-funded institutes has been declared on CBSE and JEE Main websites cbseresults.nic.in and jeemain.nic.in The candidates who get shortlisted will sit for the JEE (Advanced) for seeking admission to the IITs. About 12 lakh aspirants have applied for the exams. The examinations to undergraduate engineering programmes are being held under a two-tier format. The JEE Main is a common entrance assessment conducted for admissions in different engineering institutions for courses such as B. tech, B.E, B. Arch, and B. planning under the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The number of students appearing for the JEE Main exam has considerably improved over the years. Follow these steps to check JEE Main 2016 results: 1. Visit either of the two websites- cbseresults.nic.in or jeemain.nic.in 2. Click on the link ‘JEE Main 2016 Results’. 3. Enter application number, date of birth and name; 4. Click on submit. 5. Your results will be displayed on the screen. 6:Take a print out and save for future reference.
