Jammu & Kashmir: Suspicious IED Found In Baramullah's Pattan, BDS Defuses It
Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that a joint team of forces found a suspicious object at Kutta mode in Pattan in Baramulla district this morning.

Srinagar: Security forces defused an Improvised explosive device at Pattan area of Baramulla averting a major tragedy The suspected object was found on Srinagar-Baramulla road at Pattan by a joint team of forces this morning. This is the second IED to be defused in Baramulla in less than a week. Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that a joint team of forces found a suspicious object at Kutta mode in Pattan in Baramulla district this morning. Traffic has been stopped and Joint Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) were called in which defused the IED safely. The explosives were hidden in an apple orchard, just adjacent to the Srinagar-Baramulla highway and is the major route for movements of Army and other security forces.
Pertinently, last week forces defused an IED in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad village.
