J&K: 3 Terrorists Killed As Army Thwarts Infiltration Bid Along LoC In Kupwara, Ops Underway
Srinagar-based Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said weapons and war-like stores were recovered during the operation, which is currently in progress.
Indian Army on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Keran Sector. Three unidentified terrorists were killed during the anti-infiltration operation. As per the latest reports, the operation is still under progress.
The security forces also recovered weapons and other war-like stores in the operation.
"3 Terrorists have been eliminated in the ongoing anti-infiltration operation on the #LoC in Keran Sector, alongwith recovery of weapons and other war-like stores," Srinagar-based Chinar Corps of the Army posted on X.

Earlier today, Army informed about the foiled infiltration bid in Keran sector, however, it did not specify if there were any casualties on either side in the ongoing operation.

Earlier this month, five soliders were killed and six others were injured after terrorists ambushed an Army convoy in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district. The attack took place in the Machedi area when terrorists opened fire on a routine patrol vehicle of the Indian Army.
When the security forces retaliated, the terrorists escaped to a nearby forest area.
Reinforcements were rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control as shots were being exchanged between the forces and the terrorists.
Defence Minister Rajnath Sinh expressed anguish over the lives lost in the terrorist attack.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi also expressed his condolences over the attack, saying the "cowardly attacks on our army are highly condemnable".
On June 12 and 13, two terrorists and one CRPF jawan were killed in a gunfight during a search and cordon operation .
