J&K: Forces Bust Terrorists Hideout In Ramban, 3 Chinese Grenades Among Ammo Recovered
Security forces uncovered a terrorist stronghold in Sarniyal Forest, Khari Tehsil of Ramban district, today, resulting in the seizure of a massive stockpile of munitions and explosives.
In the Jammu and Kashmir area of Ramban, security personnel raided a hideaway and collected rifles and ammunition, ANI reported. During the joint ops, the police led to the stockpile of guns, ammunition, and other related items in the remote mountainous and wooded area of tehsil Khari in District Ramban.

In response to the information, the J&K Police and the Army conducted a combined search operation in the woodland region, and potential hideaway spots were searched.

In a similar incident in May this year, police had uncovered a terrorist hideout in the forest region of Tehsil Khari in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district and seized a significant cache of munitions.
According to Ramban police, J-K Police and Special Operations Group (Banihal) started a search operation in the Burzalla woodland region, and suspected hideaway spots were examined.
Officials claimed security personnel apprehended three overground workers suspected of being affiliated with the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba in Budgam district on Friday, news agency PTI reported. They were nabbed by a joint team of police, army and CRPF during a vehicle check in Patkote, Beerwah region of Budgam district, they claimed. The three individuals, identified as Mohammad Younis Dar, Syed Jahangir Shah, and Irfan Ahmad Wagay, were found with one hand grenade, 13 AK rounds, and LeT posters.
