Jammu And Kashmir: 3 Terrorists Killed In Encounter Between Security Forces And Terrorists In Shopian And Budgam

An encounter between security forces and terrorists broke out on Friday morning in Kashmir's Budgam district.

An encounter broke out between the security forces and terrorists at Beerwah in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. "Encounter has started at Beerwah area of Budgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow," the Kashmir Zone Police (KZP) tweeted.

Jammu and Kashmir Police SPO Altaf Ahmed has lost his life in this encounter. At the same time, a young man is also being injured. It is being said that 1-2 terrorists are still in hiding at the Beerwah district.

"Encounter has started at Badigam area of Shopian. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow," the KZP said in a tweet.

According to the latest report, security forces have killed 3 terrorists in Shopian and have recovered heavy arms and ammunitions. Security forces are searching for other terrorists.
