New Delhi: An unnamed terrorist was killed in a clash with security personnel in the city's Harwan neighbourhood on Sunday, as per the authorities.
According to them, the meeting took occurred late at night.
According to accounts in the media, a joint police-CRPF squad conducted a cordon and search operation in the Harwan region, following which the terrorist was neutralised.

In an official statement, the Kashmir Zone police said, “One unidentified terrorist killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow.”

According to the police, the fight erupted after security personnel conducted a cordon and search operation in the city's Harwan neighbourhood after receiving specific information about the presence of terrorists in the region.

They said that the dead terrorist identity and organisation connections were being determined.
LeT Terrorist Killed By Security Forces In Poonch
Earlier this month, a terrorist belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba was killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. The Lashkar terrorist has been identified as Abu Zarar, a Pakistan national.
The incident took place in Poonch's Behramgala region. An AK-47 rifle and ammunition were recovered from the spot.
