New Delhi: A violent clash broke out between RJD and BJP workers in Patna as both parties pelted stones on each other on Wednesday afternoon. RJD’s youth wing workers had protested outside BJP office against senior leader Sushil Kumar Modi after IT raids were conducted against its chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday. The clash left around half a dozen injured. Immediate police intervention helped in controlling the situation. Reacting to the violence, Sushil Modi said it shows the desperation of RJD leadership. "It clearly shows the desperation of the RJD and its top leaders Lalu and his two sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav, both ministers in the Bihar government led by Nitish Kumar," he said. Lalu on Tuesday said he is not afraid and will not bow before any one and fight "fascist forces" till his last breath The Income Tax Department raids were in in connection with alleged "benami" property deals involving him and his family. He also gave rise to speculations that there may be a split in his alliance with Nitish Kumar's JDU "Congratulations to BJP on new alliance partners. Lalu is not going to bend. Till my last breath, I will continue fighting against fascist forces." However, in his next tweet, he maintained his alliance with Nitish Kumar is unbreakable. "The alliance is unbreakable. Parties with same ideology will be associated with it. I am not afraid of the BJP's and supporters of its government," the RJD chief said.
