Coronavirus HIGHLIGHTS, 9th May, Sunday: The Supreme Court has set up a National Task Force (NTF) to streamline oxygen allocation to states across the country, a move that comes in the midst of the second wave of the coronavirus disease that has stressed the health care sector and sent the demand for medical oxygen among Covid-19 patients soaring.
Several states, including Delhi, have complained of a crippling shortage of medical oxygen with reports of deaths due to its non-availability coming in from different parts.

People with comorbidities, food providers, vegetable sellers, bus drivers/conductors, Anganwadi workers, Mitanins, Panchayat workers, PDS shop managers, women in Institutional care, state govt employees, state PSU employees & their families have also been included in the list. People working in old age homes, women care centers & child care, crematoriums, persons with disabilities, semi govt institutions providing essential services & any other category of persons as defined by state govt also included in the list.
