One of the most auspicious Hindu festivals, Ram Navami marks as well as celebrates the birth of Lord Ram, who is also said to be the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. It falls on the Shukla Paksha Navami which is the ninth day of the Chaitra month and is also the conclusion of Chaitra Navratri.

Chaitra Navratri is marked in March or April according to the Hindu calendar. This year, Ram Navami falls on March 30. According to the Drik Panchang, Lord Ram was born in the middle of the Hindu day, or the Madhyahna period, The Mint reported.

Rama Navami Puja rites should be performed during Madhyahna, which lasts for six Ghatis (or around 2 hours and 24 minutes). Mint quoted Drik Panchang while reporting that this year, it will last from 11:11 am to 1:40 pm. At 12:26 PM, the Rama Navami Madhyahna Moment will happen.
