Farmers' Protest Roundup: After getting the permission to organise a tractor rally in Delhi on Republic Day, the farmers' union has issued guidelines so that the parade is carried out in a peaceful manner and appealed to those participating in the tractor march to carry enough ration for 24 hours and ensure that the rally remains peaceful.

Instructions issued by farmers unions for the rally:

• Key points included that no one should carry any weapon or drink alcohol. Banners carrying inciting messages are not allowed. Three routes, originating from Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur border points, have been finalized for the march.
• Those starting from the Singhu border will traverse Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Bawana, Qutabgarh, Auchandi border and Kharkhoda toll plaza. The entire route will be 63 kilometers long.
• The 62-km long second route, starting from the Tikri border, will pass through Nagloi, Najafgarh, Jharoda border and Rohtak bypass and Asoda toll plaza. Tractors starting from Ghazipur will drive through Apsara border, Hapur road and Lal Kuan. Covering 68 kilometers, it is the longest route for the march.
• The farmer leaders will be on the frontline in their cars.
• All vehicles will have to return to the originating place. No one will try and stop midway without a valid reason, the farmer leaders said.
• Each tractor will carry a tricolour and there will be folk music and patriotic songs.
• Only five people per tractor will be allowed and strict vigil is being maintained to thwart any criminal activity .

Mumbai: Thousands of farmers in Maharashtra march to Mumbai in support of Delhi agitation; Pawar Thackeray to join

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar will be taking part in the farmers protest in Mumbai today which is being staged to render support to farmers protesting against Centre’s three new farm laws at various borders in Delhi.

Accordingly, over 100 organisations came together and formed the Samyukta Shetkari Kamgar Morcha (SSKM), Maharashtra, in a meeting held in Mumbai on January 12. The SSKM has called for a joint sit-in at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai from Jan 24 to 26.

Pakistan Twitter Handles Busted:

Delhi police in a major revelation has claimed that the neighbouring Pakistan created over 300 Twitter handles in an attempt to create ruckus during the farmers' march.  The revelation came soon after the delhi police gave approval to the protesting farmers to hold tractor parade on the occasion of Reublic Day.
